Building upon the previous session, but not contingent upon it, participants in this session will not only gain a thorough understanding of the interconnectivity between culturally and linguistically relevant teaching, a California multi-tiered system of support (CA MTSS), but will also experience and compile a toolbox of research-based culturally relevant social emotional and behavior practices. The objective of this session is to experience and compile a toolbox of research-based culturally relevant instructional practices that align with SEL competencies, behavior expectations, and classroom management practices; designed to close the achievement gaps for ALL students.
